The degree course in Digital Administration responds to the modern conceptual platform for the development of the information society, combining the study of information and communication technologies and digitalization in the field of public administration.
The aim of the program is to meet the needs of society for highly qualified personnel to carry out management, design and consultancy activities in public, non-governmental and business organizations by preparing highly qualified specialists with competences in the field of building, implementing, managing and working with systems for forecasting, analyzing, processing and visualizing data from business and technological processes, introducing electronic services, platforms and cloud technologies in the administration of public and private organizations. The prerequisite for this is the changing environment, which requires the use of data to make optimal decisions, apply forecasting models and automate administrative processes.
The Digital Administration specialist prepares for work as a contractor, expert and head of department or directorate in the various functional areas of administration. They will be able to manage and control teams and resources; create, use and maintain a database management system; collect, process and use information; create and manage modern online public services.
Students acquire knowledge and skills for analyzing, designing, implementing and maintaining information and communication technologies and systems in the field of e-government; for developing and using information and communication technologies and systems for solving business tasks in large and medium-sized companies; for defining problems, analyzing alternatives and creating approaches, methods, techniques, software tools for building, implementing and managing information systems for public administration.
Graduates of the “Digital Administration” degree program will be qualified as Digital Administration Engineers and will be fully prepared to pursue careers in the following areas:
- Administration and work with information systems for data analysis, planning, execution and control of business processes in enterprises and organizations;
- Design and implementation of integrated digital systems for unified business management;
- Management and maintenance of portals and systems for electronic services and work with digital signatures and certificates in the fields of banking, industry, government and business administration;
- Implementation and management of electronic commerce systems (e-commerce);
- Management and expert position in government departments and agencies; non-profit organizations and structures; documentalists and archivists.
