SHORT DESCRIPTION:
REFRESH (RELATE, EXPERIENCE, FIND RESEARCH EVERYWHERE AND SHARE) is a 20-month project led by Centre for Research &Analysis with 20 partners and 27 associates.
Overall objective:
Bring researchers to the general public and increase awareness of research and innovation activities, with a view to supporting the public recognition of researchers, creating an understanding of the impact of researchers' work on citizen's daily life, encouraging young people to resume and embark on research careers.
Specific objectives:
- Increase the public awareness of and interest in education pathways, research and innovation developments;
- Contribute to overcoming negative stereotypes of researchers and reveal them as accessible, creative, public and supportive members of society;
- Improve citizens’ access to the results of research and their understanding of the impact of science on all aspects of their lives;
- Upgrade communication skills of active researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs and stimulate their appetite to engage with various groups of non-specialist audiences, nurturing children’s research curiosity.
