The degree course “Communication Technologies and Cyber Security” in the Department of Communications Equipment and Technologies offers innovative training in the field of modern communication technologies in combination with methods and means of ensuring cybersecurity and information protection in computer networks and systems for conventional and industrial communication.
Graduates of the “Communications Technologies and Cybersecurity” degree program will be qualified as Communications and Cybersecurity Engineers and will be fully prepared to pursue careers in the following areas
- Innovation, design and development related to research and deployment of new technologies in telecommunications and cybersecurity
- Ensuring the cybersecurity of communication networks in smart IoT-based conventional and industrial systems (manufacturing, engineering, automotive, etc.)
- Design, maintenance and technical support of reliable and secure hardware and software systems for digital mass and personal communications
- Manufacture and control of communication devices and equipment for mobile, cable and satellite communications in civil, military and industrial systems
- Implementation and maintenance of communication systems and protocols in networks with information encryption for the transmission and processing of voice, video and data for the purposes of cloud structures and artificial intelligence technologies
- Design and construction of security systems, fire alarm systems, video surveillance and access control systems
